Rich in hydro and geothermal resources, Iceland generates 100% of its electricity from clean energy. IWI's access to clean and green energy is the first and primary step in bringing our products to the marketplace. IWI's facility is 100% powered by hydropower and geothermal energy. Iceland generates 100% of its electricity from clean energy, using only 35% of its estimated potential.
Intelligent Water Management and Monitoring.
IWI's production facility in Iceland has access to one of Earth’s purest waters, available in great abundance —far more per capita than any other nation in the world. Icelandic water is extremely clean, low in minerals and almost sterile as it exits the source and naturally alkaline. Even with access to abundant natural water resources, IWI operation takes a responsible approach to the overall water management.
IWI doesn’t have to cool, heat, or move water during our sourcing and bottling process, allowing us to conserve water and energy greatly. Being located within 1 km from the export port, saves time and energy as well. Iceland Water® is World's Water®
